USAID/West Africa

United States of America is committed to promoting economic growth in West Africa through a dynamic and coordinated regional assistance program managed by the United States Agency for International Development West Africa Mission (USAID/West Africa) located in Accra, Ghana. USAID/West Africa serves as a regional hub, providing development planning and management, legal, procurement, financial and other services to client USAID missions in the West Africa sub-region. The Mission also manages a satellite office in Dakar, Senegal to ensure the delivery of more effective technical and regional services. To assure sustainability of our programs, USAID/West Africa works in partnership with West African governments and regional institutions such as, The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), CILLS, UWEMU and CORAF to focus on four priority areas

• Conflict Mitigation & Reconciliation
• Health & HIV/AIDS
• Agriculture & Environment
