Agenda: Election of Global Shea Alliance Executive Committee
The 1st General Assembly of the Global Shea Alliance (GSA) was held to adopt the Alliance guidelines and elect the Executive Committee (EC). The meeting was held during this year’s Shea 2011 conference on Sustainable Solutions from April 4-7, 2011 in Accra, Ghana. The meeting started at 3pm. Vanessa Adams, Director of the USAID West Africa Trade Hub, presented the GSA’s proposed structure and by-laws - including its vision, mission and code of ethics - which were unanimously adopted by the General Assembly.
